ABOUT THE PROJECT

A third-party software aims to let you load renderdragon shader through resourcepack and enable the hidden deferred rendering pipeline.

Main Features

  • Enable deferred rendering
  • Disable raytracing for better performance
  • Loads RenderDragon shaders from the resource pack
  • Hot reload RenderDragon shaders

Installation


1. Download BetterRenderDragon
2. Unzip the file BetterRenderDragon.zip to an empty folder.
3. In the BetterRenderDragon folder, double-Click LaunchMinecraft.bat to launch Stable versions, or Double-click LaunchMinecraftPreview.bat to launch Preview versions.

Press F6 to show or hide the BetterRenderDragon Menu


MaterialBinLoader

Press R to reload shaders


Vanilla2Deferred

  • Press Ctrl + ; to turn deferred rendering on or off
  • Running Deferred Rendering requires a RayTracing resource pack to be on

    • Can this program work on Android devices?

      No, but we have MinecraftPatched for android to load renderdragon shaders.

    • Why my pc can't turn the Deferred Rendering?

      Your PC maybe only support up to Direct3D 11 instead Direct3D 12.

    • I close BetterRenderDragon floating window by accident, how to put it back?

      Press F6 butten on your keyboard.
